Size Guide

Bangles

We currently stock bangles in 60mm and 65mm. Our 60mm bangles will generally have a more snug fit on your wrist, whereas bangles with an internal diameter of 65mm will sit loose and hang low over your hand.

The way our bangles sit on your wrist may may differ from the model, based on your wrist size. To ensure our bangles have the desired fit, we advise measuring your wrist before making a purchase.

  • Step 1

Cut a piece string to around 20cm. Wrap the string around your wrist and pull to the desired length, thinking about whether you want a tighter or looser fit. Remember, if you're shopping for a slip-on bangle that doesn't have a hinge, you'll need to allow extra space for your bangle to slip over your hand.

  • Step 2

Use a pen to mark the length of the string. Lay the string out flat against a ruler, and measure between the end of the string and the point you have marked. This measurement provides your wrist circumference. Refer to our measurement table to see the internal diameter and find your corresponding size.

Rings

We currently stock rings in sizes 6, 7, 8. We are in the process of expanding our sizing options. If the item you are interested in is unavailable in your size, reach out to us at hello@foiyl.com.

Please note ring sizes are not universal, and there may be slight variations between our sizes and those of other brands. To assist with finding the perfect ring size, see our recommendations below. You can also buy a ring sizer to confirm your size.

  • Option 1: Measure a ring

Find an existing ring that fits comfortably on your desired finger. Using a ruler with millimetres (mm), place your ring on top of the ruler and measure the inside of the circle. This will give you the internal diameter. See our ring size chart above to convert the diameter measurement to your correct ring size.

  • Option 2: Measure your finger

Cut a piece of string to a length of 10 centimetres (cm). Wrap the string around your desired finger, and use a pen to mark where the string overlaps. Using a ruler, measure the length of the string in millimetres (mm). This will give you the circumference. See our size chart to convert the circumference measurement to your correct ring size.

Pendants

Our pendants include a self-tie cotton cord that can be adjusted in length up to 55cm. Alternatively, you can choose a thicker suede cord with silver clasp, which has a fixed length of 42cm.

A 42cm cord typically rests at the base of your neck or slightly above your collarbone. A 55cm cord will hang lower, reaching around mid-chest. Our image provides an approximate guide to how different cord lengths will look. We suggest using a piece of string to measure your desired necklace length before purchasing.
